0 Meine Vorstellung von Glück /This is what happy looks like for me
zum ersten Mal in diesem Sommer schwimmen gehen - Das Gefühl von kühlem Wasser auf heißer Haut - sich nach dem Schwimmen wunderbar angestrengt fühlen - Sommerabende - gemütlich abends grillen -warme Sommernächte - rennen in der Nacht auf Laternenbeschienenen Straßen - Dunkelheit und Wärme //to go swimming for the first time in this summer - the feeling of cool water on hot skin - to feel tired after swimming -summer evenings - a cosy barbecue in the evening - warm summer nights -running at night through lantern-lit streets - darkness and warmth
9 Mir wurde ein Stöckchen zugeworfen! /I'm tagged!
/That has to be celebrated! For the first time I didn't have to get a Tag, but was tagged!
That depends. I search around in the bookstore (And I also buy there! You lazy Amazon customers!) also I look in the brochures in the bookstore (the only bookstore in our town and there are no not so many books there and as of late through book blogs. In the past I used to look on Amazon, but then it became to creepy to me, because they always knew, what I would read next... there I decided, that I won't do that anymore.
When I was little, my mother read a lot to me, until I knew the picture books by heart. Then there was at our school a reading project in second class, in which you got a reward, when you read. At some time the books became the reward itself ;) But it upset me awfully, that I didn't reach the second "shelf" -there were some kinds of levels, different shelves that contained different books. Also that was the time when I discovered my first favorite books, "The Land Of 36000 Wishes", that I've probably read a hundred times and it was the time when I started lending books from the library. Then I still a lot of nonfictions, such children's nonfictions, that "explain the world" to kids.
I really try to read not too one-way, but honestly? I've got separate places in my shelf reserved only for fantasy and science fictions accordingly dystopias. I used to read very open, although I avoided series like "Hanni and Nanni" and "The Three Investigators", because there were so many of them and the where just not fantastical, but I read through a lot of classic by Michael Ende and Astrid Lindgren. Whereas it's not that I exclude books categorically, but when something is a fantastic story I rather take hold of it.
I make up an own ending for the story. That way probably some of my early stories developed: Always when I thought, the end could have been different, I made up something. Or when I was totally embarrassed, that the story had ended and I still couldn't let go, I continued the story in my imagination. In fact I actually make up a fanfiction, in which I mess everything up again.
I wouldn't call them doldrums. There's the reading ebb and the writing flood, that take turns. Sometimes I can't write at all, then I mainly read and put all my writing projects on ice, and in such a phase I am, and then there's again the writing flood, where I only read little, because try to concentrate on writing. Reading ebb, because I've got a creative ebb in such a time and only suck up books, but don't manage to create anything of my own.
Naa. I read christmas stories even in summer, easter stories in autumn and really don't care for anything, when I choose books, except, that it shouldn't sound like a simple, clumsy love story. Sorry, but I can't stand love stories, that have no real subject, except that both get each other, because they have no message.
Jeder nehme das Stöckchen mit, wenn er will ;) /Anybody may take the Tag with him ;)
/But practically I'll tag...

1. Wie erfährst du von Büchern, die du lesen möchtest?/How do you get to know about books you want to read?
That depends. I search around in the bookstore (And I also buy there!
2. Wie bist du zum Lesen gekommen? /How did you come to reading?
/Did your book taste change, when you became older?
I really try to read not too one-way, but honestly? I've got separate places in my shelf reserved only for fantasy and science fictions accordingly dystopias. I used to read very open, although I avoided series like "Hanni and Nanni" and "The Three Investigators", because there were so many of them and the where just not fantastical, but I read through a lot of classic by Michael Ende and Astrid Lindgren. Whereas it's not that I exclude books categorically, but when something is a fantastic story I rather take hold of it.
/Do you buy books regularly, if yes, how often?
/I lend books a lot from the library, but when I have money I buy a book; I think it's three books per month in average.5. Wie bist du zum Buchbloggen gekommen?/How did you come to book blogging?
/After I had discovered a book blog for the first time it was actually already clear to me, that I wanted to do that, because I dreamed for a long time to have an own website -Don't you see? An own website? Isn't that the coolest thing you could have?6. /How do you react, when you don't like the end of a book at all?
I make up an own ending for the story. That way probably some of my early stories developed: Always when I thought, the end could have been different, I made up something. Or when I was totally embarrassed, that the story had ended and I still couldn't let go, I continued the story in my imagination. In fact I actually make up a fanfiction, in which I mess everything up again.
/Be honest: Do you sometimes already read the last page, to find out, if there's a good ending?
Ja. Especially in puky boring stories, that simply won't go on, where I wonder what the author thought by making that up. But I actually don't want to know, if theres a good end, but actually if there's even an ending or just a stupid cliffhänger (Which is okay in good stories, but not in all). Sad ends actually don't bother me.8. Hast du manchmal Leseflauten? /Do you sometimes have reading doldrums?
I wouldn't call them doldrums. There's the reading ebb and the writing flood, that take turns. Sometimes I can't write at all, then I mainly read and put all my writing projects on ice, and in such a phase I am, and then there's again the writing flood, where I only read little, because try to concentrate on writing. Reading ebb, because I've got a creative ebb in such a time and only suck up books, but don't manage to create anything of my own.
/Does your book selection match the season, a festivity or an event?
Nee. Naa. I read christmas stories even in summer, easter stories in autumn and really don't care for anything, when I choose books, except, that it shouldn't sound like a simple, clumsy love story. Sorry, but I can't stand love stories, that have no real subject, except that both get each other, because they have no message.

0 "Artemis Fowl" -Eoin Colfer
| German Cover |
I really creeped around this series often, without really knowing, what it was, I didn't even know, if it's only an adventure story or fantasy. Judging by cover (the German Cover) I also thought that I was too old for it, but then I saw a friend reading a sequel to it and read a part of it myself, found it good, and decided to read the series.
The idea is really inventive, because I just don't know where to sort it by genre. It has something of James Bond on the one hand, on the other it's about fairies, elves, dwarfs, goblins and other magical creatures. These are technological further than humans and live in underground cities in the earth's mantle. And the main character, Artemis Fowl is a criminal. So everythings a very interesting mixture worth reading.

| English Cover |
At all the action damaged the book a bit, because it wasn't quite complete, at least at the beginning, when the book dragged on. In the end this weakness was balanced by the showdown at the end. And I have to admit that it really was a joy to read this book, already because of the topic. Even if it has weaknesses: It was well transcribed. For a children's respectively youth book the characters were quite interesting, because there were no good and bad guy, but a bunch of people working either against each other or together, which was a nice variety.
1 Das Innere Kind /The Inner Child
/If you wished a toy for christmas, what would it be?
As a little girl I actually already usually wanted books. Toys... yes, I really don't know. I really was a quiet child, sitting in my room and reading. Confinement to my room couldn't have been of any use, so I never got any. I really don't know, what to do with toys, except maybe dolls. Maybe that's embarrassing, but I found it really interesting to make up stories for my dolls and plush toys. Toy story, where I was the boss. Also with Barbies, but today I wouldn't wish a barbie, but maybe action characters. Lately I discovered Raven's Forest and I hav to admit, that action characters are cool and what Raven makes with them is simply cool.
/If you could turn off your mature sanity, what would you like to do?
Was I ever sane? Well, logically examined the question is then superfluos, because then everything I do is insane. But that again was a sane statement, which leads to the questions, whether I really am insane or simply lazy...
Approaching "mature", as a teenager I'm sooo mature...
I would probably spend all my money for ice-cream, chocolate and books, run nude through the streets, sing aloud and wouldn't care for any queerish glances. Whereas I actually never care for any queerish glances and then of course it's my usual attitude to act weirdly. I would start all kind of mischief at school and wouldn't care anymore for my grades.
3. Welcher ist Dein Lieblingskinderfilm? /Which is your favorite kid's movie?
Und bin weiterhin Michael Ende Fan.)I liked Jim Button very much (The puppet version, yes, I know) and also Charlie And The Chocolate Factory. I also like series like Phineas and ferb and the series of Jim Button. (Yeah, as a little girl I was a fan. And I still am a Michael Ende Fan.)
/Which fairy tales would you like to hear from your parents?
I really don't know what I liked then, because started much earlier than my brother to read books on my own. But I'd say, that I like modernized versions of fairy tales more than the old ones. Most likely yet I like Hansel and Gretel, because it's the only one, where a girl saves herself and secondly a boy is rescued by a girl. Whereas I also like Snow White and the Red Riding Hood.
/Which children's song do you still know by heart?
Pippi Langstrumpf! That was always a favorite. That I use always other numbers in the part with the counting doesn't really matter, does it?
/What did you always want to do as a child, but where never allowed to?
Build a tree house. Even if actually wasn't banned of doing it, but my mother didn't like hig trees in her garden, about which my parents already argue and I never dared to start anywhere else, say, in the woods, or on a strange estate. And I simply didn't knew how I should have made that. Today I'd simply walk to the building store, buy the necessary stuff and start.
7. Was wolltest Du als Kind immer werden? /What did you wanted to become as a child?
Abenteurerin. Such Indiana Jones-like, hunting treasure in the jungle. Today I might call it archaeologist ;). My second quality was fairy. I thought I'd simply fly around with glitter wings and share out good wishes with the wand, would be a great job, wouldn't it? Third choice actually already writung and when I realized more and more how unlikely one and to are that came to the fore. Which doesn't mean, that I still have some glitter wings in my wardrobe, just in case...
8. Wo würdest Du gerne wieder sein? /Where would you like to be?
Hangzhou. Hangzhou. When I still spoke Chinese, went to the best school I ever went to had a nice and good teacher, that really cared for her students, I had only nine boys and four other girls except of me in my class, there were all these actiona days as "Crazy hair day" "Pyjama Day" "Twin Day" and a really great american Halloween Party, where it wasn't awkward to watch Zack and Cody and Hannah Montana, before I ever heard anything about the Euro Crisis, before Fukushime, when maths where easy, when I lived for the moment, when my mother still happy, when I read, when in general I still was credited for odds and ends and life was in general easier.
/When you could live in the snow, what would you do first?
Der Klimawandel schlägt zu.If there was enough snow, even today I would build a snowman, go sledging, make snow angels and so on. But sadly I realized now, that there is simply less snow... The climate change is striking.
10. Was war Dein Lieblingskuscheltier? /Which was your favorite plush toy?
I had such a big teddybear called Kuru and when I was sad I cuddled him tightly.
11. Wie sähe Deine Tapete in Deinem Zimmer aus? /How would the wallpaper look like?
Delphine! Dolphins! A whole wallpaper full of blue dolphins! Then when we moved my parents always told me, that I didn't want the dolphin wallpaper when I was fifteen, but I still want it and now I know that not only children use lame excuses.
12. Du sollst Dein Zimmer aufräumen, wie wäre Deine Ausrede? /You shall tidy your room, what would your excuse be?
As a little girl I was so lazy, that my mother or me nanny (Yes, I know) finally did it. But now?
None. I love tidying up! You always discover such nice things when tidying up and you're able to organize all kinds of things, order the bookshelf or rearrange my dollshelf.
13. Wofür würdest Du Dein Taschengeld ausgeben? /What would you spend your money for?
Bücher und Schokolade. Schon immer. /Books and chocolate. Always.14. Was fandest Du als Kind traurig? /What did you find sad as a child?
Hard to tell because as a child I never had these depressed moods, I still have today. But when I was sad, I had at least a reason. I was sad, when my parents forbid something to me and at the same time tried to put me off with something else. I would have prefered a simple no, even though I can only tell that from retrospective. Also generally, when I didn't get something I wanted. When I got bad grades. When things didn't went the way I wanted. I was a hopeless know-it-all and when something wasn't "right", I wasn't happy anymore until it was "right" again -regardless if it really was right or if I was wrong. Which is still hard for me, even though I've become a little more relaxed.
/What did you fear as a child?
Darkness. I always saw all kinds of creatures in the darkness which I still do, but now I don't fear them that much.

How it came to change to arial and English
So.
Yes, I rang a lot with myself, if I'll do it, because actually I am a fighter for Times New Roman, but I've realized, that the internest and a book are still a different kettle of fish...
Anyway, as must have noticed, the font is now arial.
The surface, as the comment buttons and the text in the contact form is now in English. That was like this: Lately I discovered a blogger blogging bilingual, namely in English and Bulgarian. Fortunately it was a blogspot blog, in which everything is the same, but still I asked myself, how all my German surfaces must seem. Because in the Bulgarian Blog everything was in spite of the fact that I knew were I had to click double dutch to me. Then I actually realized, that this wasn't appealing to more than ninety percent of mankind.
That doesn't work, I thought, you can translate as much as you want, when the people don't leave comments, nothing will help. You have to change, I told myself.
My blog is becoming international and from now on it has an English surface. Since the chance that Germans understand English is higher than the other way round, the hit rate of people understanding my blog will be higher. And if some people want to complain about that, you may write a comment... ;)

And if some people want to complain about that, you may write a comment... ;)
0 Sophia Mangold

Sophia is twelve years old and goes to middle school and in the story I'm writing about her she loses her magical powers and has to find out with Tobias what happened and win her magical powers back. She's a self-confident girl, that can also take center stage and doesn't keep herself behind, which is typical for the witches in my story, because by character they are kind of like the witches as they probably were in mid-age -only that the witches then didn't really have magical powers -selfconfident, extravert girls and women, that are smart and creative and also sparkle with life -which in the end also has negative results.
Sophias mother expects a lot from her and send her to witchery lessons, ballet lessons and to horseback riding lessons. Also, her mother belongs to those mean mothers, who still ground their children nowadays and so Sophia is rather outside than inside, although she has a big room, where she collects all kinds of stuff her mother always wants to through away, because she thinks it's trash. So she spends most of her timme on the fields, in the gardens outside the town and also in the town, the main thing for her is to get away from home.
Sophia can already control her magical powers, in contrast to her sister Athena, who has to go to an "institute" (something like the psychiatry version of Hogwarts), because her powers cause to much disorder. Secretly Sophia is a bit jealous of her sister, because when someone can't control his powers as a child, it means, that he becomes very powerful later. Actually she knows, that she would be even less free than at her mother's, but still she has this wish.

1 I forbetter my English...
(kein Cat-Content. Keine Babyfotos. Unter Garantie nicht) Aber es waren solche sprachlichen Glanzstücke wie: "It's me sausage!" "You can't reach him the water!" oder "You go me animally on the cookie!".
Ansonsten nix Neues im Westen, also verabschiede ich mich now.
I wish you what!
