Yesterday and today I finally went a again for a walk. It's strange. Just wenn summer has passed by I go outside often, while I couldn't get my butt out the windoe all summer -if we didn't go completely on vacation or trekking.
I think sunsets in autumn are more beautiful and with rather a blue feeling than in summer. In summer the sun isn't always there either, but if, it burns hot from the sky. Therefor it's much more comfortable in spring and in autumn and winter it's because of it's rareness so much more worth. Also the air is cooler then. That's why in autumn I go more often outside in autumn -even though after a rainy winter without snow I start missing summer, but I think that's the way everybody feels...
When I go for a walk alone -okay, I admit I do that also in company, but then it's prohibited -I start singing. And even though I can't proof it here, I don't sing loudly and out of tune, but I sing the same songs for hours again and again and secretly I understand that it drives most people up the wall, but when I then sing in front of others I'm too high to admit that...
I think singing makes people feel better. Especially to let off steam and give full vent to one'e feelings. That's why I go, whenever I really need to let off steam, on a walk. There I can sing as loud as I want, without anybody forbidding it. Or even screaming when I can't think of a sing that really fits to my mood. That's better than any therapy and even better than just listening to music. I like music I can't sing to anyway -I've got loads of soundtracks in my music library -but there's somehing missing in songs with synthesizer where in some parts there's only the synthesizer you hear.
Well, and when the sky is as clouded as today and it once ina while rains, then everything is perfect. Then you feel wonderfully lonely, when you're standing on the field, and nobody except yourself's there. And if you're standing under a grey sky in autumn, where there's a bit of sun shining through at the horizon and colors are glowing insubstantially -the gras has some kind of light green color that just doesn't want to fit to the grey -and it's not as hot as in summer, so you even recognize it pleasant to sweat a bit in the midst of the rain, then it's a good feeling and I rediscover my love of going on walks.

6 Fotostrecke von einer Fahrradfahrt /Photo Gallery of a Bike Tour
My parents have followed-up the peer pressure and als bought their daughter a smaartphone. Actually I'm not that excited about that, but for the first time in a long time I've got a proper camera now. Ages ago I once actually got a digital camera, but I lost it at some time. My mother didn't want to realize that it was gone, demanded me to search for it an refused to give me the budget for a new camera, so that the only provisonal camera I had was the one on my laptop and that one is damn blurred and also bonkers all the time.
So on my last bike ride (It wasn't really a big tour) I took the mobilephone and took the beautiful pictures you can take with it (so much better than what my laptop effects)
/It was sunny, but cool, since it was only between eight and ten 'O clock in the morning when I was on the way. Anyway you get beautiful pictures there.
/The hut at close range. I love huts :) Then it's also that kind of cute half-timber cottage you simply fall in love to :) With a birch beside it :) Like a witch house or Mother Holda's house, since as we all know: "Witches always stand between birchs" There you go, who of yu recognizes that? I didn't dare to enter it. Could have bin a witch (in there)...

My bike plus in the background this beautiful forested hill. The hill just needed to be somewhat thousand of meters higher and I'd build a ski slope there. And this shining bright blue sky. How blessed I felt :) The tree on the right looked sad, but as everything else around me it inspires me ;)
Was meinen sie? Eine Handy zum telefonieren? Nie gehört was das sein soll... /Even backhill majors have their problems ;) Apparently the Lontal villagers are quite humourous. And their majors live in cottages :) For this I simply hav to love this small village. Ah, yeah, shouldn't a mobile phone be for making phone calls? Sorry? Phone calls? What do you mean? Never heard of that...

I actually already wondered if people living behind and between so much hills should be called backhillsmen instead of backwoodsmen. So hills as there are around. Backwoodsmen by the way would be Transylvanians. The name Transylvania is so much un-vampire like but comes from the Latine trans silva which means simply "behind the woods" or rather actually "beyond the woods".

0 Spaziergang auf dem Feld /Walk on the fields #5
Yesterday I was again in the dell I lately told about, awhile after it rained and the birds all tweeted I sat on a ledge reaching so far into the dell that I actually almost sat on a small hill in the middle of the dell. And then the hill around seemed to breath, as if they lived and I turned my head again and again, because I had this strange feeling, like a gigantic breathing dragon was standing behind me. At all it was special yesterday. I saw a deer and the dell seemed even wilde than the first time. Around our place there used to be a fox straying around and now I imagine that he had a hideout in a place like this. And I saw the woods far out there and tried to imagine, that they used to be connected with the small wood in the dell and that everything used to be wood.
Jetzt seid ihr baff, was?
Yesterday I had my first idea for a story playing in reality. Yes. No fantasy story like most, no dystopia like "The boy with green eyes" -a story, that began as a work fo school .but just a really realistic story set in our world. And also a love story. Now you're gobsmacked, are you? Okay, maybe not everybody, but those who know me do. And it's about simple things happening in our everyday life. When I was walking on the fields and thought about whether the internet really is more social or if it's only emotionless and had the idea for the story that now stands clear and simple in my head. I really want to keep the story for myself, because it's really, really good, so I don't want anybody to steal it. But it's important for me, that it's a real story that could really happen.
Yesterday I was totally smashed because I again had stress with my parents. And I wondered if you maybe have the best ideas when you're feeling worse. Whether suffering, problems and everything else making our lives hard are what drives us forward, inspires and pushes us, because it gives us the will to make things better, because only of this we have things worth fighting for; because there are problems we have to overcome. If we were all around contented, would we ever have emotional releases or lose our temper? (I'm thinking of the book "Brave New World by Aldous Huxley) In this case, could we ever create art? Would ever think about whether life is worth living and wonder why we live? No. So maybe that's reasonable, that we also need problems to go. It would be a bit stupid, if humankind wouldn't go on, I mean if people would all be happy, but nothing happened. Maybe we need to suffer a bit so the world can get better.

Yesterday I was again for a walk on the fields. That really was indispensable, with that weather, the sun was shining wonderfully and I was around before sunset, so I had all this time this wonderful feeling, you only have, when you go on a walk by sunset. A sunset is fugacious. And it reminds me always, that the past day will never come again and gives me the slight feeling, that I missed many things I could have done. At sunset the sun is much more colourful and colours the earth much more interesting. Every becomes shining yellow and orange and gets just as much light, as necessary, so you can see the light of the sun as well as the shadowa, these longish, dark evening shadows, that were pictured so often.
There were also a lot of animals around. You often see birds where we are, usually the ravens sitting on the fields and pick seeds out of the earth. And I've seen a whole bunch of magpies. I used to think magpies were loners, or at least they would only live in couples, but these were in a bigger group.Actually magpies form, when they don't breed, something like a flat share and in winter even swarms, consisting of hundreds of birds. (look on Wikipedia) And again I found a strange german word for a bird's call, the "Schäckern"(in German) of the magpie. I don't understand, why they give every single bird's call another name. First of all, you can't translate it, and secondly it's totally enough to have "call", "scream" and "tweet" for birds.
When I go walking, I face the charakters of my worst nightmares. Dogs. "Oh no, dogs are soooo sweeet!" some of you might say. Well... Dogs make me nervous, since my childhood. When I see one, my pulse begins to quicken, my hand bbegin to sweat and I become nervous. Especially on the field its worse. As a little girl I let my daddy carry me on his shoulders, when a dog scared me to much and I only felt safe on high. On the fields it's really nice, when everything is dog-free (a certain case), but when a dog comes along, I fell totally frightened. Don't misunderstand. I don't hate dogs. But doesn't it make you nervous, when for example a big, drooling boarhound looks at you, with these glowing red eyes? I don't know... Okay, there are prettier dogs, even with those I don't get warm. I'm contented, to keep distance to dogs.
Yesterday by walking I had the biggest idea inrush since long. The results will be finished in the next weeks. It almost upsets me, that ideas come in waves, so you have slacks on one side and on the other side times, in which you almost don't get to work then down, and don't even think about, whether they're good or bad ideas.
Spring was another thought, that concerned me. Spring is my favorite season of all. I like winter, but only when there's snow, otherwise the coldness and darkness don't pay out. Especially were we are, it's often misty and cloudy in winter, without even any rain. Why can't these winter clouds be consequent and rain their water to earth? It's definitely more interesting, to watch rain, rather than staring at a continuously gray sky. Only the last one is rather the case around here. And from this point on it becomes unbearable. Then there come, this year already since midth of february the rescue: Spring. To say it with the words of Jean Paul:
"The good thing of spring is that it always comes, when we need it most"
Really, that's true. No other season can be more beautiful, than the time, when the leaves are still green and fresh and tender and not dried out by the summer's heat. Nothing is more wonderful, as a restart, and spring stands for restart rightly. The ancient Romans had their new year in spring, in march, and I think, spring is actually exactly the right season for a restart. Not winter, which is emotionally more like waiting and feasting, rather than the actual fasting period, in which everything already calls for living and growing, when you become more vivid. Winter is a great reading time, but spring is the time, in whicch you don't get embarrassed by a little bit rain and clouds, because you still remember the much darker winter, different to summer, where everything is too hot, or you already go home again, just because of some raindrops. Spring is vivid and cool, fresh and still warm and sunny enough to make life better again. Long live spring!

Today I've seen a hawk on the fields, as I was on a walk. It had this hawksound, that is so high, that it almost sounds like the usual bird tweeting. I think around our place it's ideal for hawks, since there a free fields, but some gardens, in which high trees stand, so exactly the right thing for a hawk. In our garden we have a sitting pole for birds on our highest tree, so that they won't sit on the tree. Last year there was once a hawk sitting on that pole. Back then I came really close. It's really fascinating to see something else than ravens, doves and sparrows, which you see ever day if you go outside.

I've recognized, that since there are houses in the whole street, the wild animals don't come closer anymore. Previously I could watch the hawk from my window, now I don't see it that often. My mother is glad, that there will grow less weed soon.
There was a fox which used to walk around the garden and sometimes you found tracks of it, but now there's only the memory of it and the fox keeps away from the street. I still remember that the fox once fought with the ravens, because of some mouse or whatever, beside our garden, and I could watch that from my window. Now there only remain the walks on the fields.

Der Fuchs und die Raben/The Fox and the Ravens
0 Spaziergang bei Sonnenuntergang/Walk by Sunset
Today I was walking on the fields. The sun was jut setting and it was warm, but the field was wet from the last rain. As I walked along the field, I always heard strange sounds. First I thought it was my zipper that chattered or maybe wet grass that was moved by the wind, though unlikely because of the wet, but then I stopped to listen and heard, that the sounds came out of the soil. Under the soil there were hundreds f worms, bugs and other creatures, who stirred down there and lived and reacted on my feet shaking their world. In the soil there was life. It was a fascinating thought, that in the soil over whch my feet were stepping was a whole world and somehow I felt connected to this world.
Miniature worlds fascinate me, whether they are fantastic or real, because I always try to imagine, how the world may look out of the perspektive of such tiny creatures.
